The Stationary Steam Engineer’s Course focuses on steam turbines of all sizes and purposes. Pricing of $1,350 each for up to 2 students. Pricing of $1,215 each for 3 or more students. This course functions as an excellent refresher for those installing, operating, and maintaining steam turbine equipment, auxiliary systems, and condensers in existing plants.

***In order to take this course a student must first have completed the Steamworks HPBO course or currently hold a High Pressure Boiler Operator’s license and is looking to upgrade her or his license.***

The Stationary Steam Engineer Licensing Program is a State of Ohio-approved program. This program, along with the High-Pressure Boiler Operator Licensing program, prepares the participant to sit for the State of Ohio Third Class Stationary Steam Engineer License exam.

This course alone does not provide any additional work credit hours. It is to upgrade a license. Prerequisite of HPBO class.

*In order to only take the Stationary course alone, a participant must have taken the High Pressure course from Steamworks as a prerequisite or currently hold a High Pressure Boiler Operator’s License.

What’s Included
Steamworks provides books, writing utensils, notepads, state application etc.. In addition Steamworks provides light breakfast snacks and lunch every day (excluding Fridays).

*Companies should note that the State of Ohio has approved this course for Tech Cred. The Tech Cred program is a substantial reimbursement of funds. Payment by Credit Card:

You may register and pay for your class online with a credit card using the sign up link ABOVE. Once you’ve selected the participant quantity, add it to your “shopping cart.” You can check out with a credit card. A receipt will be sent to the email of choice. If you are having issues or would like to receive a different form of online credit card payment, please contact us. If you’re paying for more than one student, we will contact you to get the names of all students.

Payment by Purchase Order:

You may reserve a seat(s) with a company purchase order (PO). Prior to this method of payment, Steamworks must be in your company account as a qualified vendor. Steamworks will send a quote, if applicable. Send the approved PO from your company. Once the training is complete, Steamworks will invoice through the PO. Payment Plan:

Individuals may register by setting up an approved payment plan with recurring monthly payments (6 months or 12 months). The applicable certification is not given until program is paid in full. If you would like to choose this option, please contact us at least 3 weeks prior to the start of the course to set up your payment plan.
