What is TechCred?
Ohio's TechCred Program gives businesses the chance to upskill current and future employees to help them qualify for a better job in today’s tech-infused economy. Businesses who submit successful applications will be reimbursed, up to $2,000 per credential, when current or prospective employees complete technology-focused credentials.
Employers may receive up to $30,000 per funding round.

Start Your TechCred Reimbursement
The following information will be required for all TechCred reimbursement requests:
A copy of the credential earned (High Pressure Boiler Operator or Stationary Steam Engineer from STEAMWORKS Certificate).
An itemized invoice which clearly identifies the cost of the credential.
Proof of payment which may include either a cleared check, a credit card statement, or a bank statement. The document must identify the training provider (STEAMWORKS), the amount paid (FEE), and the date paid and must clearly show that the payor is the TechCred Grantee.
A copy of the TechCred Employment Verification form for each employee included in the request.

Submit an application during these time periods to get approved for funding you can use following qualified training.
January 2, 2025 and will close on January 31, 2025 at 3:00 p.m.
March 3, 2025 – March 31, 2025
May 1, 2025 – May 30, 2025
July 1, 2025 – July 31, 2025
September 2, 2025 – September 30, 2025
November 3, 2025 – December 1, 2025
